Elysee-you-later

Today I took the Navy debaters to a public debate on the Elysee Treaty, an accord signed between France and Germany in 1963 that has become the framework for cooperation between the two nations.  Afterwards, we were invited back to the German Cultural Attache's house for a garden party.  It was lovely, and it was also lovely to get to hang out and have a little social event with some of my favorite debate people.

      Thanks Jeannie! I always feel like I'm "in my element" around the midshipmen. I don't know if they keep me young, but they do a good job of (usually) keeping me happy.
